Territorial divisions and Internal Political led to sessions of the Venezuela and a Quito in year 1830, so called "The Department of Cundinamera" it was adopted in name Granadina. Two years after a civil war in year 1863, "United States of Colombia" created lasting until the year 1886, when country became known as Republic of Colombia.
 

An internal division remained between bipartisan forces, igniting occasionally a bloody civil war, most significant being Thousand Days in Civil war it together with United States of intentions to influence in area led to separation of Department of Panama in year 1903, establishment of it as nation.

 

Soon after, country achieved relative degree of the political stability that was interrupted by bloody conflict took place between 1940s and early 1950s, that period knows as the La Violenica ("The Violence"). It was mainly mounting a tension between tow leading political parties. That ignited after assassination of Liberal presidential candidate on April, 1948 that assassination caused riots in the Bonota and then became known as the El Bogotazo. Violence from riots spread through the country and it claimed lives at least 180,000 Colombians. It is from 1953 to year 1964; violence between two political parities was decreased as first when the Gustavo deposed President of the Colombia in coup and negotiated with guerrillas.

 


It was emerging in 1970s, when powerful violet drug and further it developed during 1980s and 90s. New Constitution of Colombia of 1991 was ratified after being written and drafted by Constituent Assembly of the Colombia. Constitution included a key provision on the ethic, political, gender and human rights. New constitution prohibited initially the extradition of the Colombian nationals. Accusations of lobbying were there by the drug cartels in the favor of prohibition. Cartels had promoted previously a violent campaign against the extradition, leading terrorist attacks and a mafia style execution.
