It is 26 th largest nation in world and fourth largest in the South America after, Peru, Argentina and Brazil. Colombia has 29 th largest population in world and second largest in the South America. It has 3 rd largest Spanish speaking population after Spain and Mexico.

Territory of Colombia was inhabited originally by the indigenous tribes including Quimbaya, Muisca and Tarrona. Spanish arrived in late 1499 and was initiated in period of the colonization and conquest that ultimately led carton of Viceroyalty of a New Granada comprising Colombian modern-day, Ecuador, Panama and Venezuela) with capital at Bogota. Independence from the Spain has won in year 1830 "Gran Colombia" that had a collapsed with secession of Ecuador and Venezuela. Panama and Colombia emerged as Republic of a New Granada.

Country is standing at middle of power with 4th largest economy in the South America. Colombia is ethnically diverse, and interaction between the descendants of original a native inhabitants, African slaves, Spanish colonies and 20th century immigration from Middle East and Europe has rich producer heritage. Majority of urban center are also located in highlands of Andes mountains, Colombian territory was encompassed by Amazon rainforest, Caribbean and tropical grassland and coastline.
